GrabScanGo Main Pay Terminal (22″) Setup Instructions

1. Assemble Terminal

  • Assemble Elo floor stand
  • Run DC cable of 22″ Elo touchscreen’s power supply through inside of floor stand’s pole from base to top
  • If connecting to Internet using Ethernet, also run Ethernet cable through inside of floor stand’s pole
  • Place 22″ Elo touchscreen with screen face down in portrait mode on a flat surface, such that Power & Home buttons are on right side
  • Remove bottom peripheral slot cover, plug barcode scanner into slot & fasten it with included screws (2)
  • Plug one connector of USB-C t0 USB-C cable into USB-C slot on back of MagTek DynaFlex card reader
  • Place DynaFlex card reader on top of short lowered section (has a hole for the USB-C cable to pass through) of card reader bracket & fasten it using the 4 shorter pan-head M4 screws (included in floor stand box), such that card insert & swipe slots are toward outer edge of bracket – see figure below. Ensure that card reader is oriented correctly, else on-screen instructions for inserting & swiping a card will be incorrect; Tap should be towards long section of the bracket, and Insert slot should be towards the outer edge

  • Plug other connector of USB-C to USB-C cable into USB-C slot on back of Elo touchscreen
  • Plug Bluetooth beacon into USB-A slot on back of Elo touchscreen
  • Plug DC power connector into power slot of Elo touchscreen
  • If connecting to Internet using Ethernet, plug connector of Ethernet cable into Ethernet slot of Elo touchscreen
  • Hold card reader/bracket assembly such that top of card reader & screen of Elo device are facing in same direction (see below diagram for correct orientation), and attach top of long section of reader/bracket assembly to upper 2 VESA mount holes of Elo touchscreen using 2 of 4 longer pan-head M4 screws (included in floor stand box), but do not tighten screws
  • Slide Elo touchscreen & card bracket/reader assembly into upper VESA mount notches of floor stand, and attach bottom portion of lower VESA mount of floor stand to Elo touchscreen & card bracket/reader assembly using 2 of 4 longer pan-head M4 screws (included in floor stand box), and tighten screws
  • Tighten upper 2 VESA mount screws

When completed correctly, back of Pay Terminal assembly should look like image below.
